10 Years of Flexout

Flexout Audio are flexing a textbook case of womanitis, booking two women to make their 16 men look more inclusive!

Fun fact: if you book two women, you can completely avoid criticism that you’ve only booked one woman, while still keeping your allergies in check!

South Facing Festival

An open air concert series started after a crowdfunding campaign raised over £57k to bring live events back to Crystal Palace Bowl is bringing back a taste of the good old days by:

  1. Failing to recognise that women or non-binary people exist

  2. Booking Supertramp

Which of these is the bigger crime? You decide!

Kendal Calling

Not even gonna count the artists on this one to save my mental health.

Top tip: Want to add a woman to your lineup as it seems to be the fashionable thing to do, but you don’t know any? Just book Flava D, problem solved!

Please note that this page stans Flava D, we’re just calling out anyone that stops at her when booking artists that aren’t men

Raising awareness

Since the announcement that music events will finally be allowed to continue this summer, it’s come to our attention that there’s been a concerning rise in a new allergy we are calling womanitis. Symptoms include but are not limited to:

  • Forgetting to add any women / gender minorities to a lineup
  • Hearing loss specifically when listening to music not made by men
  • A complete lack of taste

We’ve started this blog to raise awareness of this debilitating condition in the hope that one day we may find a cure.
